The most interesting photo in my photostream was actually taken by my brother. This is my try.

just a quick snap from our beach day. i had a different image in mind, but couldn't help adding this one to june's set. this is just so classic june... multi-tasking.

It is really important to have the lock on on the sound trigger... The banging glass sets the flashes off several times - and with a 2 second exposure time you end up with a completely white image...

I had to go long exposure and use the MIOPS to set off the flashes. It turns out that the shutter lag on a 5DMII is really slow... Even with mirror lock-up on... Also, the MIOPS does not come with a compatible cable to set off an Einstein or Alien Bee. I had to set off a speedlight and set the other flashes to optical slave. If you are listening MIOPS guys - a cable that will trip Paul C Buff lights directly would be really cool :-)

Einstein E640 at 1/16th power in stripbox left and right of subjects.

Triggered with a MIOPS Smart sound trigger - delay: 10 ms

I watched films all day today. No regrets.

It rained until around 7pm and now there's clear skies. Golden hour was glorious, but I didn't take any photos I liked.

This picture is different so I'm not sure, but it's not as though I have anything else.

Totally inspired by the incredible Madeline. I just loved that pose. Spines are cool.

Another one taken slightly later in the morning and with the sun pouring through the tree canopy. The flowers are Bluebells.

Looking forward to going back here in autumn & winter.
