I think in second life we all have great legs (aka 'gams'). So showing off a great pair of legs starts with a great skirt from Amias. While snuggled with my bulldog from Black Bantam, I'm enjoying the sunset wearing my top from Pixicat and a snuggily fresh cardigan from Mowie
And the best item I'm wearing but you can't see is my Universal Thong from Kaithleen's It's a free group gift; $199L to join but she gives out great gifts and some of the best lucky letters in SL. But her thong you can wear with or without the straps and bound to match whatever outfit you are wearing. And even showing all these gams it keeps me the lady that I am!

Selfoss
You can find this wonder a few hundred meters upstream of Dettifoss. It's a waterfall on the river Jökulsá á Fjöllum in the north of Iceland. The river drops over a number of waterfalls over about 30 km before flowing into Öxarfjörður, a bay of the Arctic Sea. The river originates as melt water the glacier Vatnajökull and therefore the water flow varies depending on the season, the weather and volcanic activity.

Another snow day in Texas. Never been here when there had been two days in a single season. Extremely rare. Of course, all the reason to skip out on work for a spell a brave the bitter cold ... and go all out for some more 360º renderings.
Image Details: (NIKON D300 w/10.5 mm f/2.8 fisheye lens)
- Main exposure level set for 1/320 sec at f/8.0, 10.5mm Focal Length, and 100 ISO Speed.
- Secondary exposure from -4.0EV bracket blended in to fill blown highlights of sky.
- Captured in portrait orientation on tripod w/RRS Ultimate-Pro Omni-Pivot package.
- Post-processed using Lightroom 3 and Photoshop CS5.
- Stereographic rendering of 360º comprised of 8 frames (6 around, + 1 top and 1 bottom).
- Stitching and blending done with PTGui stitching software.

This is a shot across Millwall Inner Dock towards Canary Wharf taken recently on the way to work. This is the forst post in a little while, I've been busy experimenting with other techniques and also preparing for a portfolio review which was great and very enlightening and has provided me with ideas on my direction and a way forward too.
This is two shots both vertically corrected and then stitched together as a vertorama.

Three ways of looking at comet C/2022 E3 (ZTF) from this morning.
1. (top left) Movement against the stars from 42x 120seconds;
2. (middle)Stitching together two complete fields of view with just two individual images and the comet's tail still goes further than I could cover;
3. (lower right) Stack of 41x120seconds images on the comet to bring out maximum detail of the ion tail and the come coma region.

The 50 foot squared concrete memorial to President John F. Kennedy dominates a square in downtown Dallas 200 yards from where the President was assassinated. It is a space for contemplation, neither open nor closed with its 30 foot high concrete walls and openings in the center of two opposite walls, as well as along almost all of the base. In the center is a black granite slab inscribed simply with the President's name.
"Not a memorial to the pain and sorrow of death," but "a permanent tribute to the joy and excitement of one man's life."

- Full-sized image print is 63.5 x 63.5cm (at 240ppi).
- Exposure level set for 1/250 sec at f/8.0, 10.5mm Focal Length, and 100 ISO Speed.
- Captured in portrait orientation on tripod w/RRS Ultimate-Pro Omni-Pivot package.
- Post-processed using Lightroom 3 and Photoshop CS5.
- Stereographic rendering of 360º comprised of 10 frames (8 around, + 1 top and 1 bottom).
- Stitching done with PTGui stitching software and blended with Photoshop's Auto-Blend.

Eventually...
I have been meaning to start back up with my 2010 year in review run, but keep going out taking photos. ;) My 1-3 postings were easily met last week. Perhaps the weekend will allow for some of those to finally make their way up here ... unless a photo opp presents itself.
