Download the original size of this image. Print the image, then cut out the black portions with an exacto knife.
After applying the glitter, place this black cutout on top. Lay the 1up letters and eye-dot cutouts down as well, positioning them in place by hand. It can be helpful to carefully use the tip of the exacto knife to move these small pieces around.
Sprinkle the powdered sugar on top of the cutout. Then, carefully lift the cutout and you'll be left with the outline that you need.
Something that worked well for us was to fold small pieces of tape to make little handles for the large piece of the mushroom. For the "1 up" and the eyes of the mushroom, if you carefully just slightly poke them with the tip of the exacto knife, you can use it to raise them up to remove them.
Here is the first of my video game themed alcoholic beverages. This is the 1up! Half Malibu Rum and half Midori. I like it because it's hardcore enough for a dude, but fruity enough for me! Yumm.
