Flower under the sun!!!

Red-winged Blackbird

Monte Vista NWR, Monte Vista, CO

At 12 degrees fahrenheit (-11 Celsius), you really have to want to see the sun rise to enjoy it in this location. That is the temperature of just about every one I've witnessed from this location over the past several years in February and in March. In this photo, you can actually see the breath of this male Red-winged Blackbird as he calls out and displays his gorgeous red/orange wing bars.

The demo was awesome.

Thanks for visit and I really appreciate your comments and FAV, my friends!!!

After a much needed break, back to creating some MOCs. This time, my favorite helicopter in 2 versions. Thinking about the gunship next, but I think it is time to focus back on vehicles...
