I was lucky enough to be outside with my camera when a crew of juvenile grackles decided to visit our feeders. I often catch sight of these guys through the window but if I open the door to get a clear shot they tend to scatter so I was very pleased to be in the right spot at the right time today.

Heute fuhr die IG Schienenverkehr Ostfriesland mit einem Sonderzug von Nienburg nach Amsterdam, als Zuglok war die altehrwürdige E10 1239 eingeteilt.
Und auch das Wetter spielte mit, bei bestem Morgenlicht passierte der Zug Völlenerfehn zwischen Leer und Papenburg.
Back to the window this afternoon but a little distracted by the wandering dog who really wanted a sniff. Luckily Nessalina felt safe enough under the watchful eye of Tigs (he's in the bokeh background) to stop and pose for a photo.
I was actually trying to get a photo of both Tigelaar and Nessie together but they weren't up for the challenge of sitting still long enough.

It was a lovely day yesterday. We were invited to our cousins’ chalet in Sahel Shamaly for a day. It’s a three hour drive from Cairo. The beach there is beautiful, white sands, turquoise waters, and a burning sun!!! I totally forgot to bring sunscreen, and I got a really bad sunburn!
I took a couple of shots, but it was too bright, I couldn’t see clearly enough to take more, and I realized I’m really bad at landscape photography!!
Today Yatzy have been playing in the dandelions. We are
inspired by Todd and Jaspers catch ball pictures, but we do have to practice a little more :-)

Je ne sais pas si vous avez déjà eu l'impression que le monde s'emballait, comme un train fou, toujours plus vite, zéro stock, flux tendus... puis un coup de (presque) arrêt brutal (services de santé mis à part), notre vieille planète n'avait pas aussi bien respiré depuis longtemps... en attendant le reboot avec les leçons qu'on ne tire jamais;)
