What is even odder is I was listening to the Rolling Stones 'Shattered' on my headphones. From the album 'Some Girls'. Which for me is a throwback to my misspent youth, actually almost my childhood.
But the lyrics...tho.
Shattered, shattered
Love and hope and sex and dreams are still surviving on the streets
And look at me, I'm in tatters
I'm shattered
Shattered
Friends are so alarming, my lover's never charming
Life's just a cocktail party on the street, Big Apple
People dressed in plastic bags (Shadoobie, shattered)

I can't say enough good about this sweet boy. He is by my feet as i am writing papers and studying for finals. He doesn't leave my side. While at the park, even though he really wanted to play, he humored me by standing in spots i instructed him to stay in, attempting to capture the light. He made me laugh by goofing off as I instructed him to lay down and he just flipped himself onto his back rolling around. He hopped away happily as i released him with a big grin on his face and i just smiled. I love this knuckle head so much <3
Bus 19 is another bus i'm buying for my non - profit School Bus Heritage. I've made the choice to use the windows and seats for other buses then use it for storage.
I saw her coming from a distance and I knew instantly she'd make a great subject. She was with a male friend and I asked them both if I could take their photo and explained why and a little about the project. Her reaction was not positive initially but her friend was up for it and he went first. I think that made her feel a little more comfortable about it and decided she'd give it a go.
She was great...she knew what to do straight away...and made this cool photo. Thanks Stranger #19.

iPhone panorama of about 1/3 of the line waiting for the first dose of Covid-19 vaccine. It was a 1.5 hour wait for 65+ year olds. The line went around a corner at the far right and continued for another block.
The GAD-19 (Ground Assault Droid) was designed to be dropped into a hot zone before ground troops were deployed to the area. Sporting a JA/DD (Jump Assist/Decent Decelerator) jetpack, the GAD can cover and secure a large area rapidly. Unfortunately, the droid was rushed into service and has proven to be ineffective against medium and heavy armor. Upgrade kits are in the works to provide the GAD with supplemental anti-armor weapons.
This is my first mech attempt.
Thanks to all the mech builders out there... I am sure that I have ripped off someone.

Day 19. Oh happy day.
Today the weather was (still is now) great, so I spent some time outside. The sun just gives me so much energy.
So I biked to the local pond in my hometown, taking some pictures of the nature there. Tried to make a 365 picture there too, although I wasn't feeling too comfortable with all the fishermen around. :D There was also another photographer, I passed him like three times with my bike. Must have thought I was stalking him or something (I wasn't, he just passed me as I was taking pictures, and then when I wanted to go to another place, I just drove by him every time because he was on foot). :)
There's something about the country and nature that just 'soothes my soul'. Sometimes I think I should just move somewhere where the weather's always nice and live on some ranch or something. :)
