My lovely girl is back from Venice (she went as part of her Art & Design course). She brought me back this pretty Venetian glass bead bracelet.

I know we only go thru life one time
Wonder how the second time would be like
But love takes more than one try
We hurt the ones we love the most
You know I love you with all my might
But there's something we can do
To keep the feelings alive

In July 1991, Burlington Northern Train No. 19 (Chicago-Laurel, Montana Intermodal) blasts through the Badlands just west of Medora, North Dakota. SD60M 9247 leads two LMXs. The 9247 was less than a year and a half old at this time, and is still equipped with a rotating beacon, and pilot-mounted strobe lights (pre-ditchlights). I can't believe this was 26 years ago!

The former Princes Street Synagogue. A building with an amazing history. My grandparents were married here in 1920. I have inset a colourised image of them taken at around the time of their marriage. My grandmother died in 2004 at the age of 107. Born 1897, she was alive in three centuries.

I was helping my good friend out with this shoot (photography is her senior project, so I'm helping to teach her some camera stuff and giving her some tips and tricks and she's doing awesome!), and I took a few photos myself while I was there :)
it was evening so the light was dying and I was worried the flash wouldn't fill the photo well, but it worked perfectly! I was so happy :)
this is probably one of my favorite instax photos that I've ever taken :)
