Milw 197 at Eagle St.one block east of Chestnut St Tower St.Paul,MN. Trivia: one dark night a frt was stopped here with a box car on each side of the street and an empty flat car on the Xing. St.Paul Police were chasing suspects at high speed,but the suspects failed to see the flat car, Suspects car demolished,chase over.

Experimented with blending modes since i really wanted to combine these two photos and didn't feel like making YET ANOTHER diptych.
I wanted to try using the moth stock that came with Rosie Hardy's tutorials as fireflies. Also used some free presets from Creative Market. Not entirely thrilled with the result, but it's something.

I treasure days like this.
My girls and I took a short class on artist trading cards (ATC) this morning, and my older daughter was inspired. She spent the rest of the day making her own cards and is hoping to inspire her friends to make them so she can trade with them.
It was really hot today, so staying indoors, even without air conditioning, was the thing to do (too hot to spend the day standing on benches -- no Bench Monday shot for me this week).
