Boo'D UPoses - New Female Set For Cosmopolitan - My Beautiful Melancholy - #6
A friend posted a beautiful, artistic photo of 1969 when he was 17 and I was too. It captured that time so perfectly that I thought about it all day. It was one of those pivotal years in life for me. It's rare to have a piece of art take you back in time in such a captivating way.

The GTO of 1968 and 1969 are extremely similar to one another. However, for model year 1969, the triangular vent window on the door was eliminated.

I miss the days when gasoline was sub $1/gallon. Vehicle year identification based on "chrome" bumpers, four "gills", "Stingray" badge, and C3 body style

Quite a few people, myself included, feel that the 1969 is the best looking of all Camaros.
The first two years of the Camaro, 1967-68, shared the exact same body panels with each other, slightly different from the 1969 model above.
The 1967-68 body had a mid-height crease along the side which was definitely below the tops of the wheel well openings. The 1969 body had creases that began from the tops of each wheel well openings and swept rearward.
I'm not as familiar with American Motors as I am other brands, but I can tell you this one boasts a 390 cubic inch engine with 315 horses raring to the point of 425 foot-pounds of torque, with three on the tree. So while it's not entirely my style, I also might not turn it down. ;)
Stunning, the 130 was the first attempt by Fiat to produce a distinctly upmarket car and was supplemented by the (more modern) 130 Coupe shortly after. Unfortunately this car also started the trend of reasonably poor selling large Fiats which seemed to end with the second generation Croma.

July 20, 1969: One Giant Leap For Mankind
Apollo 11 was the first spaceflight that landed humans on the Moon. Mission commander Neil Armstrong and pilot Buzz Aldrin landed the lunar module Eagle on July 20, 1969, at 20:18 UTC...
Broadcast on live TV to a world-wide audience, Armstrong stepped onto the lunar surface and described the event as "one small step for [a] man, one giant leap for mankind." Apollo 11 effectively ended the Space Race and fulfilled a national goal proposed in 1961 by U.S. President John F. Kennedy: "before this decade is out, of landing a man on the Moon and returning him safely to the Earth."
