My family was very poor and never had any camera. All photos I have from my childhood were made by our neighbor in so called communal flat... We had only one room of 10 square meters in that flat (my mother had 3 children). On the picture is my nun (babushka) and me at the age of 2 y.o.

1948 Dodge Coupe on display at the 2017 Winter Florida Autofest Lakeland held at the Lakeland Linder Regional Airport in the City of Lakeland Polk County Florida U.S.A.
1948 Fiat 570cc NXS247 at Brooklands Classic Car Day on 30th March 2024. In Italy it is called the "Topolino"– little mouse!
Taken at a car show in town last Saturday.
This old Chevy has never been restored but still runs good it had some rust and a broken window on the passenger side.

The Vanguard was Standard’s first all new car after World War II. Designed by Walter Belgrove it was based on the designs of American cars of the period. It has a 2088cc, 4 cylinder engine, a top speed of 78mph and cost £671 new. This 1948 Standard Vanguard, ONO 427, is on display in the Coventry Transport Museum.
MISTY ISLE is a ring netter on the lines of a classic Scottish MFV and was built in 1948 by J. & G. Forbes of Sandhaven. She was commissioned by Macrae & Broadford of Skye for the herring ring net trade and she worked at this for forty years, before moving on to Stornoway Scallops. Now in Irvine Harbour.
