Thanks to my Flicker Friend I've learned this is a 1929 Ford Model A Coupe.
91 Years ago it was brand new.
One of the solid (non-striped) painted Ruxtons at Pebble Beach, with the very sexy and incompetent Wood's Lights that many Ruxtons initially had installed. They look great, but were very poor at illuminating the dark. This image taken in early evening has nice pink cloud reflections in the top chrome of the lights, and the wonderful Griffon art deco mascot shows nicely against the black of the spare tire. Beautiful and very low and sleek car due to the front wheel drive. There is more on the Ruxton marque on my previous Ruxton uploads, and the extremely complex and interesting story of Ruxton is worth enjoying on Wikipedia and other sites.

SAIL Amsterdam is a maritime event held once every five years in Amsterdam in the Netherlands. Tall ships from all over the world visit the city to moor in its eastern harbour. SAIL Amsterdam 2025 is the tenth edition, and the first one since 2015 as the 2020 event was cancelled. It was one of the main events celebrating Amsterdam's 750th birthday. It was also 50 years since the first SAIL Amsterdam was held.
