Chuck and Mary Bramblett drove their mint-condition Model A to the Masonic Cruise-in- at Lucasville, Ohio.
One of the strangest things I saw while riding a bicycle across Iowa. On Sunday, in Neola, Iowa, I passed a gas station in which this decorated 1928 Model A truck was on display. It is owned by Pam and Rich Molden (above) of Bellevue, Nebraska. It is covered with antlers, a rusty toaster, pitchforks, powder horns, a toilet seat, false teeth, a washboard and dozens of puns and sayings. Push a button, and the radiator squirts water at onlookers. Press another button, and a stuffed skunk slings out from under the camper. On the running board is an old Singer sewing machine that a friend rescued from a dumpster.

Photographed during the southeast Michigan C.A.R.S. Club fall color tour on October 22, 2011. Two Model A Fords of very different style are parked on the lawn at R & A Engineering near my hometown
of Manchester. A 1931 Canadian-built Model A Town Sedan with a glimpse of a 1928 Model A pickup.
The license plate says 1928 and I believe it is a Ford, a Model A, I assume. I"m beginning to wonder how many of these I'd find if I were trying to. Two vintage Fords of the same era just around the corner from each other on my regular bike route in Nanaimo.
1928 Model"A"
unchopped, leather wrapped roof over the original wood roof
original wood floor
383 stroker 425 hp. 425 torque
10.5 to 1 comp.
everyday driven even winter days if sunny,no heat.
Seen at the Ole Car Club of Gallipolis 33rd Annual Car Show.
(As an experiment, I tonemapped the black and white version with Photomatix 4.1.1. It reinds me of a photo that might have been taken in 1928 when the car was new.)

1928 Model A 2 door sedan.
Made to the annual 'Cars In The Park' car show for the first time on a beautiful cool Autumn morning. Only stayed about 35 minutes. Since some had Halloween themed displays, I waited until today to post even though taken 10 days ago.
I apologize for the large number of photos, just saving some from the event to my album. No need to comment. :-)
