I was lucky enough to be outside with my camera when a crew of juvenile grackles decided to visit our feeders. I often catch sight of these guys through the window but if I open the door to get a clear shot they tend to scatter so I was very pleased to be in the right spot at the right time today.

Back to the window this afternoon but a little distracted by the wandering dog who really wanted a sniff. Luckily Nessalina felt safe enough under the watchful eye of Tigs (he's in the bokeh background) to stop and pose for a photo.
I was actually trying to get a photo of both Tigelaar and Nessie together but they weren't up for the challenge of sitting still long enough.

A completely different feel to my earlier efforts, with front light (just morning) and more clouds, but not too many. A steam train would still improve it. ;o)

as much as the MSR hair is concidered a classic, I swoon over Lolita Blu like this, with pink Ichigo Heaven hair.
It was a lovely day yesterday. We were invited to our cousins’ chalet in Sahel Shamaly for a day. It’s a three hour drive from Cairo. The beach there is beautiful, white sands, turquoise waters, and a burning sun!!! I totally forgot to bring sunscreen, and I got a really bad sunburn!
I took a couple of shots, but it was too bright, I couldn’t see clearly enough to take more, and I realized I’m really bad at landscape photography!!
There was no music, no fanfare, just a simple message….
‘People of Earth, your attention please’.........
