Two prompts in one today....where I stand on the deck ~ looking at the sky reflection in the bird feeder. #cy365 #captureyour365 #whereistandtoday #ourwisproject #inthesky #reflections #18of365

Bailey has been my daughters best friend and protector since she was a baby. From day one after bringing her home she always watched over her. Such a special bond between a child and her dog.

I do tend to get obsessed (for want of a better word!) by things - with a 365 project photos can be all consuming but other the last few days I have committed to a cycling trip to Spain in May, with this in mind I now need to get fit enough to handle some of the hills that i am likely to face..

If you like here is the rest of the 365 project so far...

Faceless self portrait

I was walking a boardwalk, in 30F degree weather, at the local nature center, when I spotted this one watching me.

"Something Seen During A Walk" for Flickr Monthly Scavenger Hunt

As we were driving in the park today, I glanced to the side and saw an Eagle sitting in a tall tree. I yelled at Bill to stop and I got a couple shots of him in the tree, then I got out of the car to try to get closer, which startled him out of the tree. I was able to click a few more shots of him as he flew across the road towards the lake. It was all so very pretty with the snow coming down!

So yesterday's picture apparently went over very well in flickr-land. In 24 hours, this picture got triple the number of views that my next highest viewed shot has gotten, and that was day one!

So thanks for the support everyone. It is a salute to Brett Favre that yesterday's picture achieved such ridiculous stats.

some hardcore pawn for you ladies and gentlemen. hur hur.

Do you talk with your plants?

This is the view from my bedroom. I grew up with this view. However, I did not grow up taking care of the plants. I am like the worst plant carer ever....(„ಡωಡ„)

But my mum really loves plants and talks with them while she’s watering them. I think it’s super cute I can only hope I can become such a good plant carer...one day! o(>ω<)o

My daughter painted 2 of these boards....one for her 3 year old son and one for her 6 year old brother. The boys are now 28 and 31. I think the cars are about the same vintage, and all have been well used by my numerous grandchildren.

Kennedy had her 1st grade Concert tonight. The theme was "A Book is a Magic Carpet". The kids had to dress up in one of the characters of the 6 songs they sang. Kennedy picked Dr. Seuss. Just before they went to the cafeteria for the show I noticed the full moon out again so I told her to jump on the table and hold the moon..it was pretty light out still so the moon didn't show up in the picture...I cheated and added the moon that I shot yesterday in Santa Barbara... :)

tonights dinner was a delight, but first a Photo op had to happen for this guuuuueeeeeeyyyy goodness.

I was surprised at how many red berries there were on this bush. Of course I would like to see this without the snow which would mean spring but we got about 12 inches of snow today. It is very pretty though

Max refused to wear pants, preferring to make some sticker pants instead

FINALLY! I have found the perfect cork board to hang all my zipper pulls. You guys don't understand, I've been searching and searching and of course Target has it. It's huge! Good excuse to get more zipper pulls to fill this bad boy up :D

Canon XSi

Self-portrait, post haircut

Just playing around with a trial of Nikon Camera Control. I loaded the sReala2 custom curve onto my d70 (it looks beautiful) and played around with the remote capture stuff. I sorta wasn't expecting it to take this picture, but it works.

P.S.: Playing with my camera is far more interesting than writing a philosophy paper.

Hmm... Shampoo, Conditioner, Beer?!

I went and played hockey with the guys for the first time this year. After playing for an hour and a half, I came home exhausted and sweaty. The after-hockey beer shower is high on my list of refreshing activities.

PP: I desaturated the color for all but the beer bottle, making it the clear focal point.

We went to stay with out friends at the beautiful holiday house in Nannup. It was a lovely couple of days or R&R.......and their cute little furball Scruff :)

Blogged

My kid & I shoveled one end to the other. Not fun. Within a week there will be no evidence of all that work except for this photo.

great big hand!

18/365: Today I made a tulle skirt in preparation for an upcoming photo shoot where I will be the photographer. It was a lot of fun, and I'm so excited to use it for the pictures! If you'd like to learn exactly how I did it, you can read about it on my blog (doodlebugblogs.com/2015/01/18/tulle-skirt-for-a-photo-shoot/).

(18/365) This is what happens when I almost forget to take my photo for the day :) Big sister and little brother cuddling on their favorite couch.

Sorry it's a little late my camera died and I had to let it charge.

Stopped at a cemetery to look for a scavenger hunt item and decided to take my sp. I was headed to an apple orchard on 920 that we had gone to many years ago. It is about 7 miles from home. On my drive, Scott calls and says my name and asks where are you??? I tell him and then he proceeds to tell me how busy he is with college, work and golf practice. I love it that he can't get bored! I reminded him to keep up his grades. While taking I went into a deep valley by a bridge and lost the cell phone connection. He called back while I was was preparing to take a picture of the 2 row apple orchard. Either they have downsized the orchard or I forgot that is was so small. When I got home I did a 2 mile walk.
