Phew... this weekend went by too fast! It's Sunday... that means Breaking Bad tonight! Have a good week everyone!
As part of the build up to the F-1 Australian Grand Prix, there is an air display by a loan F-18 Hornet.
DC Figures #18
From L to R
Cluemaster: I like the electrical tape mask and how it comes off the face like a piece of cloth.
Heretic: I don't know much about him but I think he looks pretty cool.
Maxie Zeus: He looks more like a business man in his suit.
Killercroc: In his more human form based off his BTAS appearance.
What do you think?
In an urban canal of District 18, rampant mutants and more ordinary - if insane - criminals clash with the police. I mean, look at that guy's spoon! And he's got that weird skin tone...
This is much to late for the contest but I wanted to finish it anyway.
I guess it shows that I did not build this layout with photography in mind.
I met Bennett on State Street while several of us were watching a street performer this past weekend. It was such a pleasure to talk with him. He is a very sweet, soft-spoken man.
Thank you, Bennett, for being number 18 in my 100 Strangers Project.

BACK... (4) : the back considered as the seat of one's awareness of duty or failings.

yesterday in class, my wonderful professor/mentor linda connor told me that i have "mastered the vacant expression." that was nice to hear (i think?!) since that's what i'm 'going for' with some of my shots. [specifically the sleepwalker series, which is the set of photos she was commenting on.] i don't really think i'm vacant in real life, though i am very scatterbrained and 'head in the clouds' some/most of the time. but it's not vacancy... very much the opposite, actually. consumed by my own thoughts, scheming, imagining, planning, constructing truth trees (any logic nerds out there? anyone? bueller?), concocting witticisms, remembering things i should have done earlier that day or week...etc. only giving the impression of disinterestedness. i am a very good actress, you see...

He loves modern art. When we go to the museum he always asks to go the art section first. Sculptures are a big favourite. I just wish we could take photographs inside our local museum. I love to watch him devour art. He especially loves conceptual art and anything that makes him laugh.
Lydd-on-Sea is a modern village, mostly built after World War II, which consists mainly of bungalows built along the Dungeness coastal road south of Greatstone, Kent, England. The Southern Railway opened a railway station here in 1937 but was closed in 1967. Lydd-on-Sea is part of the ecclesiastical parish of Lydd, now several miles distant, which once had access to the sea.
An island in a lake (created by gravel extraction) slightly to the northwest of Lydd-on-Sea is the site of a collection of sound mirrors designed by Dr William Sansome Tucker, to detect the approach of enemy aircraft, in the years before radar had been developed.

Day 18/365
Today I met up with my friend Alex Nero, at his new place in the Hudson River Valley. Alex is a musician and fellow photographer who is currently midway through his own 365 project, check it out: www.facebook.com/AlexNero365
We explored the Hudson River State Hospital, or at least what's left of it... Amazing location, will definitely be returning.
