Princess Pamela became a sensation after releasing her cookbook, especially in that stretch of the East Village where she opened her first restaurant. You could call her the doyenne of soul food for New York, when the city had precious few soul food restaurants. She earned this title during a time when her black skin, her womanhood, and her Southern accent weren't just signifiers of identity; they were handicaps that limited her possibilities in the culinary world. Pamela’s defiance of odds was, for these reasons alone, both singular and unprecedented.

Ludhiana's WDM3A 18949 in the midst of running-round at Abohar Junction with train 54559, the 09:25 Bathinda Jn - Fazilka Jn Passenger. Monday 12th March 2018. This runs via the new line from Abohar to Fazilka, opened on 15th July 2012 it still has yet to get more than two trains each way a day!
A relavant snippet form the Hindustan Times of 15/07/2012 read: "Abohar and Fazilka, 42-km apart, have no rail link for decades. In February 2004, the-then railway minister, Nitish Kumar, had laid the foundation stone of one and agreed to open it by 2007. Delay completion has shot up the cost to Rs 210 crore from the original Rs 88 crore.
The physical work, including the building of platforms en route, was over long ago and even teams were deployed at the new stations between Fazilka and Abohar. Only the train, the main requirement, had not been made operational.
The rail link will not only boost trade on the country's entire western border but also give a swift mode of transport to the army. "The business activity in Abohar and Fazilka will pick up," said Vikram Sharma, a businessman of Abohar. "Right now, it is dormant." "Defence forces need new trains in the region," said captain MS Bedi (retired) of Fazilka.
Representatives of the Abohar chapter of the India Against Corruption citizens' movement of social activist Anna Hazare had been on hunger strike at their town to demand the train service to Fazilka. The relay fast continued for more than 60 days, and on Sunday, the participants were still on strike.
"We won't cease our agitation until we see the train running on the ground," said Ashok Garg of India Against Corruption. "In papers, it's running since July 1.""

Designated "S0 (S-zero)," the first section of truss will be carried aloft by Atlantis on shuttle mission STS-110 in April of 2002.
Trish Hurst touched many lives here at Knox and in the Galesburg community. Trish and her husband Jason worked in the Library for several years. In her honor, a labyrinth will be constructed. A labyrinth is a judgment-free space where you can explore your own thoughts and spirituality. We welcome this addition to the Knox campus in memory of Trish.

小琉球原名沙碼基，位於屏東縣東港西南方的海域，約6.8平方公里。1755年(清乾隆20年)，居住於打狗港(今之高雄港)的李月老先生於附近海岸捕漁為生，最初前來島上躲避風雨，後經探察發現此島氣候宜人，魚源豐富，於是將家族及相邀之鄰人二十餘人由打狗移居島上，在此從事漁業立地生根。
小琉球為本島附近唯一的一處珊瑚礁島嶼，海水蔚藍澄淨，海濱有許多奇岩怪石，碧海藍天，海底可見美麗鮮艷的熱帶魚、海星、貝殼，而親水的海上活動亦在此讓遊客流連忘返，瑰麗小島有如浮流在海上的球一般，故後來沙碼基改稱為〝琉球嶼〞。
花瓶岩高約9公尺，挺立於白沙港前，為海蝕珊瑚石灰岩，猶如小琉球之迎賓地標，晨昏及白天皆可見其卓然立於海濱之堅毅樣貌。

Czech seed beads PRECIOSA Triangles in the shape of a triangle.

Descripció
Edifici de dues plantes, a la cantonada dels carrers Aranyó i Claudi Güell, amb cantonada en xamfrà, on té l'entrada principal. L'edifici és simètric i de proporcions externes, amb tres finestres idèntiques a cadascuna de les façanes al primer pis, i tres finestres al carrer C. Güell i dues finestres, i una porta al carrer Aranyó. La porta però, no trenca la simetria del primer pis, car conserva la mateixa alçada i respecta l'arc de mig punt i les dues columnetes flanquejant l'entrada. Al capdamunt, i sobre cadascuna de les finestres del pis superior, hi ha tres ulls de bou cecs. El xamfrà constitueix l'entrada principal, amb una porta amb arc de mig punt, com la resta d'obertures, i com ella amb una petita columna a cada costat. La planta noble, obre un balcó de maó amb estucs, cobert a manera de galeria d'arquets amb columnetes amb un clar aire neomedieval. Tot l'edifici està estucat imitant carreus i coronat per una ampla franja amb els emblemes de la Diputació, a l'igual que el balcó.

La representació d'un rat-penat a l'interior de la balconada i les quatre barres catalanes en els murs d'aquest edifici, posen de manifest la militància catalanista dels Güell. El rat-penat és una figura utilitzada com a cimera dels escuts de Barcelona, València i Palma de Mallorca. Per aquest motiu es considera un símbol de catalanitat.
Aquest edifici té algunes característiques que el fan diferent a la resta. La construcció és totalment en totxo arrebossat, imitant carreus de pedra que formen encoixinat. Les finestres s'han construit en forma d'arc de mig punt recolzat en columnes. Destaca la balconada, per la seva estructura, per la decoració i la presència d'un rat-penat de ferro sobre la porta. La decoració exterior alterna dos motius: un escut amb quatre barres i un altre amb una creu, disposats tots dos horitzontalment a la balconada i a la cornisa.
