Ways to tell that Dale doesn't feel well:
1) Instead of going to choir he comes home, climbs in bed, and takes an unflattering self-portrait.
2) He writes of himself in the third person. Oh wait, that has nothing to do with feeling poorly that's just because he's weird.

Bristol 188 XF926 at the RAF Museum, Cosford. The Bristol 188 was built to investigate the effect of heat on the aircraft's structure at high speed. The 188 wasn't a great success - it failed to reach its design speed of Mach 2, and high fuel consumption meant it couldn't fly at high speeds for long enough to meet the test programme's objectives.
XF926 was the second of two aircraft to fly and had a short career - less than a year from first flight in April 1963 to cancellation of the project in February 1964.
