Václav Brožík was a Czech 19th Century painter who was born in 1851.
The Convent of Saint George was a Benedictine convent located in the Prague Castle in the Czech Republic. Founded in 973, the convent was next to the seat of ecclesiastical and state power in Bohemia and occasionally the entire Holy Roman Empire, and played an important historical role. Although no longer active, the convent's building and the attached Basilica dedicated to Saint George still exist; the building now houses the Czech National Gallery's collection of 19th century Bohemian art.

This week’s new MOC is a street scene from victorian era. I haven’t done much historical scene but I actually enjoy doing this. The scene inspired by one of the paintings from UK painter Louise Rayner, her works are just beautiful and fascinating. I don’t have particular characters for this scene, just a simple afternoon street view takes you back to 19th century. Took me long enough for the building design, and lots of details and ester eggs you may want to zoom in and take a look. I recorded the whole building process and I’ll upload to YouTube later if you want to see how I built it.
