So today I found this. The word ‘covrig’ does not exist in Polish. Besides, it would have been read ‘țovrig’. So I went and asked. Apparently the owner got inspired by the Romanian ‘covrigării’ and brought the model back to Poznań. They’re planning to expand in the whole country, but for now this is their first shop. They also had covridog and kefir. Felt right at home.

Also today I didn’t manage to sign up for driving lessons but we went and got the kitty (which I didn’t photograph in the fear of scaring it, although it was pouring loudly in my arms). I have one of the best stories of my life of how we got this cat, which you can ask me all about in private. Small spoiler: it involves VHS tapes of porn films and bright pink dildos on dusty shelves..... O.o

#day186 #186of366 Hairdressers are open for business, as is the High Street. The pubs are open, being managed by security staff. We didn't stay long. I won't be joining pub goers any time soon.
