Recently picked up a PLUM 1/7 FAte/Grand Orde Lancer Scathach statue. Second hand, bought off a collector looking to downsize before a sale. This wasn't one of those items I was looking out for per se, but I did see it at Anime North for $100, used, and that made me laugh. Seeing it for $60 was significantly better and I bit.
Because things are so much more complicated now, Scathach can be said as being one of the several Female Lancers, but I can say she's the one that's dressed in skin tight clothing. No idea which form this is,
I've only had a few PLUM pieces over the years. Overall, the statue looks pretty good. Very simply pose with the spear behind her back running through her hair. The spear has a tab that slots into the right hand to keep things in place.
Detailing on the face and hair s pretty good, and the hair certainly has finer details than what you'd see on lower quality statues. Fabric details( and hair sway) is adequate to give a sense of motion to the figure, with some appropriately places folds to break up the monotony. Very nice set of curves, though the skirt conceals that area of her body. I feel they got her proportions pretty much bang on as compared to the official art., though there will always be those who prefer a bit of artistic license on figures outfits like this. Ecchi details aren't particularly prevalent here, though it needs to be mentioned that you can make out her nipples (though in a PG kind of way).
No real production quality issues to report from a sanding perspective, but there are a few sloppy Paint Applications. Nice use of higher gloss finishes for the shoulder pads and the boots for that sense of different materials.
No potential issues with regards to Build or the Pose - statue can b e removed from the base and there are supports that are secured under the arches of the boots.
