Playing around at the lower falls. First time trying long exposure with water. Someday I'll hike to the top, but I'll need to plan ahead.

My husband brought a kitten home. It'd been living under a shipping crate in his hospital's parking lot.
I'm not sure how to feel - except that this is the busiest time of the year! He sure is cute. I want to name him Toothless - from How to Train Your Dragon :)

Visit to the Open House on October 18, 2015 at the historic Packard Proving Grounds in Shelby Township, Michigan. Packard's proving grounds were on Van Dyke Road about 22 miles north of the center of downtown Detroit. The open house featured many Packards on display, as well as a cruise-in for any interested classic car owner.
All of my classic car photos can be found here: Car Collections

A Chrysler 180 is seen at Rush Green Motors, Langley, Hertfordshire on 24th December 2002. Presumably someone at the yard realised it was pretty rare and had parked it under this trailer.
A 180 SNOT technique submitted by Péter Ittzés that I lacked proper images for. Available in at least two variations.

My first attempt at a facedown shot. I was at a friends house and saw the big Kermit and knew I had to do a face down with him. All my friends thought I was a little nutty to do this, but at least I provided them with a laugh. I was going to try and get all 7 toddlers to do it with me but I think I would have a better chance at winning the lottery. :)
We managed to make it out this morning for our first shoot since our vacation! It rained all the way down to Coalcliff but somehow we managed to shoot for over an hour without a drop falling. Then as we sat sipping our coffees after the shoot the skies opened again and it looks like the rain has set in for the day.
Anyway, i named this one 180 after the number of seconds the shot exposed for. It was probably around 20 minutes before sun-up and the thick cloud kept the light nice and soft for a fair old while after.
I got to have a chat with Dex and Damien this morning too which was great. Looking forward to cape solander next week!
