The beautiful pink skies continue. I may be missing the stunning sunrises because of my football World Cup obsession. (For all of you overseas we in Australia have to deal with 2am & 6am kick offs). But these sunsets are making up for it.
Newly-rebuilt, Metra F40PH 177, 'Prairie View' leads an outbound Rock Island District train past 16th Street Tower after a snowstorm dumped several additional inches across Chicago, resulting in almost two-foot totals in spots.
I took this photo in February of 2011.. We had one snow storm after another last winter and it was white from the day after Christmas until the end of February This was taken at Liberty State Park in Jersey City. My intention was to get both the Statue of Liberty and Verrazano Narrows Bridge in the photo.

Wow. I have bad news. My f/1.8 is broken, and I need $300 for a f/1.4, or at least $150 for another f/1.8. Also, I almost have 200 pictures on flickr, but it doesn't look like I'm getting a pro account anytime soon.
My mom and I are very tight on money and can't afford anything excess. It looks like my 365 will be on pause for a couple of months.
