Day 5, Week 1.
Out on the metals with my first day with an Instructor Operator on the Piccadilly line. An awful lot to take in over one rounder. I won't be doing stock training until my seventh week, and already I'm overwhelmed by the amount of switches and MCBs there are in the cab.

meh, the focus is a bit off, but i was glad i was able to get some really good light, colors (left side), and flare! which isn't typical of my photos!

I always think I am very sensitive to colours, which also come with the problem too. I can't tell the precise name of colours even if I describe, most of the time wifey can't get it. Probably too much of RGB I guess and I've difficulties when come to express the sense of colour in mind. Hehehe...
This shot is taken in Day 3 before we began our Half Day trip. We had our breakfast as usual, since we have 1 hour free slot, we decided to pay a visit to the roof top and hunt something to shoot. Wifey doing some relaxation act on roof top by laying down her body on the sofa bed which face straight at the swimming pool. The weather was good and windy enough, seriously I felt like wanted to take a power nap but I can't, because there are shots awaits me as I saw a few potentials area.
This is one of the spot I been captivated, behind the bar table area filled with lovely bottles in each slot by its own. The arrangement of the bottle colours was just amazing. With the same range of colour top that wifey wearing, it was a perfect match indeed. The combination of white furnish with the range of colours bottle simply eyes catching.

Rick actually stopped me as I was lining up a shot of the subway on that overpass... to ask if my Fuji was a Leica M, We started talking and he told me how he was born on this street, and now living in Alabama this is his first time in the neighborhood in 23 years. We walked together for 5 or 6 blocks, as he looked around to see just how much his neighborhood has changed... He told me of stick ball, of which house was the best for halloween candy... Playing hide and seek in the Steel Cable Factory where they would later teach him and his friends how to weld together their first bicycles.
I met a former Magnum Photographer the other day at work, who told Dave and I that we were photographing old new york, thats why street photography is so important... its the only art form that can stop and capture time itself.
