Worship Weekend! I had another opportunity to lead a song this weekend ("When I Survey"). I had to focus a lot on overcoming fear. It's still something I struggle with, but it was much better this weekend. My friends Charisa and Avery had breakfast for dinner at their place, so I left church, picked up some bacon, and went to hang out with them! (Also went to the Farmer's Market again with ma and Jess!)
My friends at college threw me a surprise party because I'll be home over my birthday and since I've taken an interest in Owls this semester for some reason and it's become the joke of our group they made me this stuffed snow owl at build a bear. His name is Clark and he has four hearts in him, one from each of my friends.
Birthday... woo? Yea... many compliments to the birthday "congrats" that I received. Now... what to do...
I'm thinking about doing some amateur lightroom tutorials for people who do 365 projects (gotta find a niche, right?). For example, how the shot above (and other photos like it) were created. It would be similar to these, but aimed at people doing 365... an more simplifed (no photoshop). Fairly short too, maybe around 5-8 minutes. I could provide a bit extra info like how the shot was set up, why it works, camera settings, etc.
Think that would interest anybody? It would keep me busy till I find some friends in Ashburn :P

Mounting has started. I'm still waiting for a Pin Vise to be able to drill tiny nail holes in the track so for now I am using thumb tacks. Once nailed, will drill holes along track to solder feeder wires to the track from underneath. So far I have only soldered the inner-most curve, which is 15" radius too small for most train cars but will be used for smaller staging.
