oh so forlorn.
It was just me and the little boys this evening. My 5 year old says - mom, you're all we have now. Dad's gone, Allan's gone, Wendy's gone - it's just us. *big sigh*
Tough when everyone else has busy lives and friends. I made it up to them with ice cream and a late night though - after all, I was all they had - I had to make that a good thing.

The competition:
1. First was just his normal everyday waffle. A Buttermilk batter with cinnamon and vanilla.
2. Same batter, with blueberries and raspberries with a blackberry sauce over the top.
3. The French toast waffle. Basically he made a normal waffle, which he then dredged in an egg, milk, and cinnamon batter and griddled up.
4. A waffle crepe. Basically a flattened waffle with a honey nut cream cheese filling all rolled up together.
