Continuing to procrastinate on my research essay due Friday. And, today, I decided to take a picture of my Nikes for my daily photo. I bought these shoes on a bit of whim while I was in Beijing. But, these shoes have actually been through quite a lot, with all my hiking and the working out that I've been doing recently. Definitely a good pair of shoes. Say what you want about Nike, but they definitely know how to make a good pair of shoes.

I had a terrible day. Hormones, probably. But it turned out painting my face in a field was the cure.

Moonstone Beach has a large amount of driftwood. It seems to be a tradition of beach dwellers to stack them and make huts.
Its a great way to clean up the beach and having 6 or 7 of these make it look like a little village.

Usually, you could see Russian vehicles around every corner here. This year there were much fewer. At least this well-travelled guest from Chelyabinsk was among them.
