He tells me it's all just a matter of perception. But he's been looking at me upside-down for a while now.
Don't tell me that changing the way I think will change the way I feel. Please don't regurgitate the tender advice of "Just get over it." Don't say that I can be stronger or more forgiving. Don't say I should talk to God or a counselor or your friend who is so happy now. Don't suggest I exercise more or get a new hobby as a distraction. Don't tell me about a future that you know no more about than I do.
Just please....please.....understand. And if you can't understand, then please just let me be.
June 12, 2010--We discovered that if you swung this light-up tube around in a circle, the colored lights in it would visually separate. So I slowed down the shutter speed and took a few pictures. We wound up having a lot of fun with slow shutter speed and lights for the rest of the night.

I had a late afternoon teleconference Friday and was suppose to be meeting some friends at 6:30, so I didn't have much time to get ready. But I still took a minute to snap a photo for the 365 project.
In case you're wondering, the remote for the shutter release is in my right hand (behind my head). I can soap up my arm pits and take photos at the same time.
