Phoenix, AZ
7/14/2010
The Encanto neighborhoods of Phoenix run south of Camelback Road down to the I-10 Freeway, between the I-17 and 51 Freeways.
Many of the homes were built prior to World War II, and offer a glimpse of old world charm that abounds in this seventy-five-year-old neighborhood.
Encanto Palmcroft is the most widely known area of Encanto. The homes were designed with English Garden Charm in mind.
Every two years, the neighborhood residents open their door and allow the general public in to view the interior and exterior of these historic homes. The next Tour is March 2011 (Sunday, 10am-4pm).
