This was unexpected! The new livery has been put onto single decker's and 161 here is the back of is looking absolutely wicked whilst roaming around in Dalkeith town Centre.

I've had this idea floating around in my head for a few weeks. In notebooks all over the house, there are sketches of how I saw it in my mind. This isn't really it, so I might redo it some time soon.
Time for me to say good-bye to this old Nikon D810. What a great camera it's been. This is my last picture with it. It's going to a great new owner who will carry it around on many adventures and I can't wait to see what he does with it.
On the Selston branch of Rainbow One to Alfreton, the last village of Nottinghamshire is Jubilee before dropping down Jubilee Hill into Pye Bridge which sits over the border into Derbyshire.
161 leaves Jubilee behind with a Rainbow One to Alfreton via Pye Bridge, Somercotes and Cotes Park.
#161 This shot was in my head for some days since I realized that we have different colored matches. When I started preparation for this shot I saw that there are enough to call it a rainbow;)

I chose to do a project for 2012 to improve my photography. The plan is to take pictures on as many days as possible and post a picture of 2012 each day.
Happy New Everyone here is my first upload of 2017 curtesy of the first single decker to be repainted into this revised livery. Caught her on her first day back in public service and now 161 is my first capture of a lothian bus in 2017 as she comes up into the Midlothian Town of Bonyrigg on a service 40 to Musselburgh.

I like how those negatives reproduce the reality , I thought the Pola pack cameras have a soft lenses....not so.
Hebble Motor Services: 161 (5876 W) a Burlingham bodied Leyland Leopard L1, new to Sheffield Joint Omnibus Committee and acquired by Hebble a short time before this photo was taken at Manchester's Lower Mosley Street Bus Station operating on service X12 to Halifax. It would be renumbered to fleet number 657 later in 1970.
In 1971 the vehicle passed to Halifax Joint Omnibus Committee as their number 306, passing to the newly formed Calderdale Joint Omnibus Committee in August 1971 before being withdrawn the following year and passing to an Irish operator for further service.
