Oggi , prima domenica dopo Pasqua, la Chiesa cattolica celebra la festa della Divina Misericordia.
Gesù sarebbe apparso a suor Faustina Kowalska nel 1931 con le sembianze di questa immagine : benedicente, con una mano sul cuore, da cui sgorgano fasci di luce che rappresentano acqua e sangue. Ai piedi una scritta : Gesù confido in Te.
Lo stesso Gesù le avrebbe detto di far istituire questa festa.
Sono scettica rispetto a visioni e rivelazioni.
Però è bello in questo giorno pensare che c'è un Amore grande che è con noi e sarà sempre con noi, e di cui dobbiamo avere fiducia.
Con tutto quello che sta succedendo nel mondo, un mondo violento ed egoista, anche questo purtroppo è difficile da comprendere e da sentire.

I bought this ranunculus a couple of weeks ago and fortunately it's still in its pot waiting to be planted so I popped it on the table to get a pic. Once it's in the ground I'll have no chance of getting another photo.
