Our new couch arrived yesterday and after finding someone to take our old couch for free yesterday evening, Scott got to assembling the new one this morning.
Didn't take long for the animals to settle in. This couch has a wide back and it looks like Tigs approved.
Hope everyone is doing well and staying safe.

On June 11, 1941, Etty writes in her diary: “My inner landscape consists of great, wide planes, infinitely wide, with hardly a horizon in sight—one plane merging into the next.”30 In her diary entry on June 21, 1942, she asks herself, “What was it like this morning, just before I woke up? An almost tangible feeling, just as if there were all sorts of spaces and distances locked up inside me which now wanted to break out to unfold into ever wider spaces and distances. . . . Like stamping and pawing horses from a crowded stable. That spatial feeling within me is very strong.”31 It gradually begins to dawn on her that “the inner world is as real as the outer world. . . . It too has its landscapes, contours, possibilities, its boundless regions.”32 Another entry reveals her realization that “It is as if I were riding through the landscape of my own soul. Soul-scape. I feel that often: that the outer landscape is a reflection of the inner.”

These images were all taken during a yearlong forced sabbatical from work due to Covid.
