The 2025 Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT25) took place between Friday 18th and Sunday 20th July at RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire. Many coaches and shuttle buses were involved in transporting spectators and crews to the event, one of these was YT21 DVP, a Scania N250UD/Alexander-Dennis Enviro 400MMC bus new to Cheltenham & Gloucester as 15362 in June 2021. It wears Stagecoach Distance livery.

One of a new fleet of Scania N250 Enviro 400s operating for Stagecoach Cheltenham & Gloucester seen in the former town this afternoon, 20th October, 2021.
On Sunday 7th May 2023 Stagecoach West 15362 is passing through Newent on service 32 from Ross-on-Wye to Gloucester. It is a Scania N250UD with Alexander Dennis Enviro400 MMC bodywork, new in 2021. It is painted in the yellow 'long distance' livery and branded for service 10 between Lower Tuffrey, Gloucester and Cheltenham.

die RB 15362 wird ausnahmsweise schon direkt im Bahnhof vom IC 2276 auf Gleis 2 überholt - dafür musste die 181 215 mit ihrem IC nach Saarbrücken ausnahmsweise über das Ausweichgleis nach Süden fahren und nun im Gleis 3 die Durchfahrt abwarten.

A 26 shot panorama of Rushup Edge, Mam Tor, Kinder Scout and the Edale Valley
To appreciate the scale it's worth viewing the original size (15362 x 6722), my only slight regret is maybe not taking another row of individual images to bring in the full lower sweep of the road along the bottom of Rushup Edge and Mam Tor, although maybe pushing the stitch to 35 shots would have been a mamoth task and would of really put the scratch disk and memory through it's paces.
The light and conditions were amazing, very little editing has been carried out on top of the ambitious stitch, there's been a little levels / curves, a touch of push on the clarity and it's been run through the white nutralizer plugin within the excellent Nik Colour Efex Pro 4 to really bring out the crispness of the snow as it was when I was there.

Bailgate, Lincoln, Lincolnshire.
Bailgate is the most important thoroughfare in uphill Lincoln. It forms the North South axis between the Roman North and South gates and is on the line of the famous Roman road Ermine Street. At one end of Bailgate is Newport Arch, originally the North Gate of the Roman walled city and is now the only surviving Roman gateway in Britain still used by traffic. The other end of Bailgate leads into
Castle Hill, the medieval space which forms the setting across which the Cathedral and Castle face each other, dating from 1072 and 1068 respectively.
The area is a Conservation Area and the buildings are predominantly listed. It is also rich in archaeology with a number of Scheduled Ancient Monuments. Bailgate is noted by locals and tourists alike for its village atmosphere, individual speciality shops and eating establishments. Roughly half way along Bailgate is an area of open space that includes both the site of an early timber church (AD350-650) and a Roman Well. The outline of the church, probably the earliest in Lincolnshire, is marked out in setts on the ground and the Roman well is covered in a grass topping. The church and well are aligned reflecting the religious significance of water.
The area therefore has its origins in Roman Britain, located as it is within the centre of the significant Roman City of Lindum Colonia. The main influences are medieval, dating from the Norman Conquest and William the Conqueror's decision to build a castle and cathedral here. A short walk in this area can show the influence of 1900 years of history which can be seen, touched and walked through.

A pair of "travelling carpenters" (journeymen, or Wandergeselle in German) on a city street in Tübingen in southwest Germany in 1966. They are seen here in traditional dress of black waistcoats, black flared trousers, black hats and white shirts. Often they are seen carrying twisted or gnarled pieces of wood, with their possessions wrapped in fabric tied to the end, suggesting an image of a wizard to some people.
Attached to a zunft or guild, they may be found in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Liechtenstein. While completing a 1-2 year apprenticeship, they are not permitted to come closer than about 50 kilometers to their hometown or village. Gypsy-like they go from town to town, seeking odd jobs in exchange for overnight accomodations or a bite to eat.
