I often refer to my wife as my artistic director. This photo is a perfect example of how much influence she has had on my daily photo project. Aside from the "normal" activities of being supportive and stroking my ego (both of which she performs superbly) she also is constantly scouting for new photo opportunities for me and suggesting concepts. Today she noticed that the light at this particular time of day came through the window and reflected in the mirror to create an interesting frame of her eye. Far from being a micromanager though, once she had made me aware of the possibilities, she quickly assumed the role of model, taking my pose suggestions and then allowing me the creative freedom to develop the image. I am truly blessed to have this woman as my partner.
