Due to the lack of rolling stock, CP has refurbished and put into circulation several Swiss built Schindler coaches, especially on the Douro line. Here we see the diesel locomotive 1424 with two of these coaches doing an InterRegional train from Pocinho to Oporto.

Die blaue CP 1424 brachte am Wochenende nochmals etwa Farbe auf der Douro Linie. Nachdem die Lok tags zuvor meist nur bis Régua im Einsatz war, rollte sie am 14.09. mit IR 865 bis Pocinho und konnte am Douro bei Alegria abgelichtet werden.

Der mittägliche IR 868 nach Porto war mit der blauen CP 1424 bespannt und konnte bei Covelinhas verewigt werden.
Mit dem IR 861 von Porto Campanhã nach Pocinho stört die blaue 1424 die Morgenruhe im Dourotal, als sie kurz vor dem Bahnhof von Aregos über die Ponte da Venda das Caldas brummt.

➺My Blog
Auf dem Weg nach Pocinho befand sich CP 1424 mit IR 865 und konnte im beschaulichem Streckenabschnitt der Douro-Linie zwischen Alegria und Ferradosa abgelichtet werden.
Auf ihrer Rückfahrt nach Porto konnte CP 1424 am Douro zwischen Ferradosa und Alegria abgelichtet werden.
Die blaue CP 1424 hatte mit ihrem IR 868 Covelinhas hinter sich gelassen und strebte den nächsten Halt Regua an.
