So my young geraniums arrived by post from the geranium nursery. I had visions of how beautiful all my window boxes were going to be with these special varieties. I toiled away planting them in the sunshine, only to wake up this morning to find a squirrel has decimated the whole lot. The cruel hand of nature strikes again
