Im Jahre 2015 konnten die letzten 225er bei DB Schenker Rail (oder wie hießen sie da gerade) noch zeigen was Ihnen steckt.
Eine der festen Aufgaben war die Beförderung des Merkle Zuges von der Awanst in Gerhausen nach Ulm.
Am 02. Juli 2015 oblag diese Aufgabe der 225 802 alias 218 002, welche hier im Betriebsbahnhof Arnegg gerade an Fahrt aufnimmt.
Heute ist 218 002 die älteste erhaltene 218, die nach einer zweiten Karriere bei EGP, nun bei SEL eingesetzt wird.

Amtrak 141 for Norfolk heads through RO shortly after noon on Monday, 11/25. The foreground clutter here has been here for over a year at this point and is getting rather old. Likely the scene will evolve further once work commences to add the 4th main between here and Alexandria.
