Om de rit richting het zuiden van Portugal iets aangenamer te maken besloten we om een tussenstop te houden aan de oevers van de Douro. Langs deze rivier zijn niet alleen talrijke wijngaarden te vinden maar ook een prachtige spoorlijn die voor het overgrote deel van haar traject naast het water loopt. Het feit dat de interregionale treinen per 12 juli opnieuw door gesleept materieel zouden gereden worden deed mij dan ook geen minuut twijfelen om een bezoekje te brengen aan deze prachtige lijn!
Ook op de terugrit hielden we enkele dagen halt om nog wat foto's te maken, de keuze aan fotopunten is hier dan ook eindeloos! Voor deze IR861 zocht en vond ik een fotopunt dat ik nog niet eerder voorbij heb zien komen. Eerlijk, om er te geraken moet je dan ook een half uur door de middle of nowhere rijden en daarna nog je wandelschoenen aantrekken! Hoe dan ook, wanneer je er dan eindelijk geraakt krijg je wel een panorama van jewelste voorgeschoteld. In tegenstelling tot de avond ervoor was het die ochtend windstil en al onmiddellijk erg warm. Gelukkig konden we in een soort grot/tunnel in de rotswand de doorkomst afwachten.
Iets voor 10u30 passeert dan de 1415 met 2 historische rijtuigen richting Pocinho. Binnen enkele ogenblikken zal men de halte Vesuvio bereiken. Hier bevindt zich naar analogie het wijnbouwbedrijf 'Quinta do Vesuvio'. Een wijproeverijsessie hadden we de dag ervoor al genoten. Dit mocht dan ook meteen de laatste foto van de vakantie wezen en we vertrokken maar richting België.

Als gebürtiger Düsseldorfer hat es mich schon sehr früh in die Ferne gezogen. Frankfurt, München, Wien, Graz und seit 1999 wohnhaft in Jennersdorf, im wunderschönen Südburgenland.
Im ausgeübten Beruf als Werbegestalter und Grafiker (1966-1992) aber auch in der Selbständigkeit (bis 2012) ist die bildende Kunst immer allgegenwärtig gewesen.
Meine Leidenschaft sind Experimente mit verschiedenen Hilfsmitteln und Materialien wie zum Beispiel:
Kurzfilme mit und ohne Kamera - Kodak-Sofortbilder ganz ohne Kamera - Negativstreifen und Dias anders gesehen - PC-Fehler zur kreativen Weiterverarbeitung verwenden - Digitalfotografie und ihre Möglichkeiten mit einem Apple-Computer kombinieren und verfeinern - und bis heute noch vieles mehr entdecken...

Text: Die Entscheidungen des 27. Parteitages der KPdSU – erfüllen!
Vorvergangenheit…ich habe lange überlegt, wie ich mit Aufnahmen von Objekten umgehe, die bei Abzug der GSSD nicht sichtbar waren, weil sie bereits zu einem früheren Zeitpunkt übertapeziert, überstrichen oder überbaut wurden. Inzwischen sind viele dieser bereits verschwundenen Objekte, meist Bilder, wieder sichtbar - sei es, weil Feuchtigkeit die Tapeten abgelöste, oder Menschen die Objekte freigelegt haben.
Fotos dieser nun wieder sichtbaren Objekte unkommentiert zeigen - als wären es ganz normale Relikte des Russischen Kasernenalltags 1994 - wollte ich nicht; diese Fotos markiere ich fortan mit „Vorvergangenheit“.
Hier: Parole des 27. Parteitages wurde spätestens zum 28. Parteitag verkleidet, vermutlich wurde einfach ein neues, außerhalb der Kaserne gemaltes Bild oder Parole, davor gesetzt.

Today's story and sketch by me #1415, is a tragic story about the pedestrian, and the dude on the mobility scooter, the dude on the scooter arrived trough a fuzzy crimson Stargates, one not previously seen by myself or any of or Deputies. He shot out of the Stargate traveling at about 70 miles per hour, or about 112 kilometers an hour. And has been riding in a large circle for the last hour. The Pedestrian arrived 20 minutes ago, through a Big Blue Dimension Dust Devil, holding what looks some type of light, which it turns out is not a light but some kind of percussion weapon. Just a few moments from now the pedestrian, must have been annoyed at the dude on the scooter, because he aimed it at the scooter, and the scooter and the dude, it gave off a loud sound like a giant Gong, the scooter stopped and disappeared, as did the dude. How the Pedestrian came to Our Tropical Volcanic Planet we call Budahunga, with such a diabolical weapon, and what happened to the dude, and his scooter, will have to be a story for another time, until then Tata the Rod Blog.
