Valentine's Day is a day of love,
For showing that we care,
And if we read the Bible,
God describes love there:
If we speak like celestial angels
From heaven up above,
All our words mean nothing
If we don’t have Christian love.
Love is patient, love is kind;
It doesn’t brag or boast;
Love conquers pride and envy;
It is never self-engrossed.
Love is not rude or angry;
Forgiveness counters wrong;
Love stays away from evil;
It sings a truthful song.
Love is full of trust and hope;
It always perseveres;
Love never fails; It’s faithful;
To the Bible it adheres.
And if you give this kind of love
To your special Valentine,
You’ll be loving right in harmony
With God’s own sweet design.

I'm a huge fan of the number thirteen. I had this ring of thirteen #3 angle connectors (yeah, it stresses the parts; no, I don't care :P) that I was thinking of maybe turning into some kind of display for thirteen minifigs. Then, on a totally unrelated quest to find a new, interesting use for those thornax launcher bits, I had the idea to stick them in this ring. Lo and behold, the gap in the centre is a perfect fit for the zamor balls. This is unbelievably lucky, because my original idea with the ring of thirteen was to try to get this exact effect. I gave up when I couldn't get the centre to be centred. So now I've got my esoteric thirteen-around-one symbol and an awesome spiral-within-a-spiral! ^_^

Story to come just wanted to get this build up tonight. Realized I haven't built for this in almost 2 years. Gonna try to build for this group more I enjoy it.
I have been asked to display my photos at a local coffee/wine shop in Hyde Park. I have also been asked if I would donate my photos to a fundraiser for St. Joseph's Orphanage. A friend of mine used to spend his time at St. Joe's and he passed away a few years ago. His mom runs an art fundraiser every year in his honor and believe me, I am honored to donate one of my photos on Brook's behalf.
This is the result of my shopping spree today to find frames for my photographs. The lady at the cash register thought I might have a new "grandchild" since I was buying so many frames. I am 46 with a 15 year old. I didn't think much of the comment until later in the day. I guess my age is starting to show. Like I care. LOL!
