Info (SP): Como parte de la renovacion de la flota cuando Utinsa y Salcai se unieron, se introdujeron remesas de vehiculos de 15 metros. La segunda remesa se presento en 2003 con cinco modelos del CS-40 Magnus. Con esta remesa se introdujeron dos cambios: una doble puerta trasera asi como el cambio del K114EB al K114IB de Scania. En total Global llego a tener 17 de estos en su flota repartidos en 3 remesas.
Info (EN): As part of the fleet renewal plan after Utinsa and Salcai joined into Global, several 15-metre vehicle batches were introduced. The second batch was introduced in 2003 consisting of five vehicles. This batch presented two updates over the previous one: a double exit door and the transition from Scania's K114EB to K114IB. Global had a total of 17 vehicles divided into 3 batches.
A huge catch headed by a new for County!
Well I thought Tuesday night was good for moth numbers...the next night on Wednesday blew that one out of the water completely! With no less than 44 species recorded and 16 new for the year species and one new for me and the garden.
The weather was warm again and up to 26 degrees in the daytime and not dropping below 16 degrees here in North Herts despite another clear night.
Something special that caught my eye was sitting on the top egg tray underneath the collar of the trap. It was a Pammene and I instantly said to myself 'flipping ell that's trauniana' having recently seen someone else catch one on social media. The moth was whisked over to Graeme for a second opinion and dissection just to be sure, it is indeed Pammene trauniana and new to the County of Hertfordshire!
Two rare Pammene's in just over a week (after last Tuesday's Pammene ignorata) is incredible and i'll be happy with this being my best moth of 2017 for the garden.
We do have a few small Field Maple trees about 400 metres from our house of which this moth feeds upon.
Other bits of interest were a great big fat female Pale Tussock, the first time i've recorded a female in my garden trap and uncommon species for my garden such as Scorched Wing and
Teleiodes luculella.

1361 (OJI 7752) is a Dennis Javelin with Wright Consort B53F body and was new in 2/92. Only four of this body style were built by Wrights, this one, one for the SELB and two for mainland education authorities. It is seen here at the former Omagh depot.

Pensylvania Railroad class K4s 4-6-2 1361. Built by the PRR in 1918. The 1361 was placed on display at Horseshoe Curve after retirement in 1957. The locomotive was temporarily restored to operating condition in 1987 at the Railroader's Memorial Museum in Altoona, PA.

Als gebürtiger Düsseldorfer hat es mich schon sehr früh in die Ferne gezogen. Frankfurt, München, Wien, Graz und seit 1999 wohnhaft in Jennersdorf, im wunderschönen Südburgenland.
Im ausgeübten Beruf als Werbegestalter und Grafiker (1966-1992) aber auch in der Selbständigkeit (bis 2012) ist die bildende Kunst immer allgegenwärtig gewesen.

Kurzfilme mit und ohne Kamera - Kodak-Sofortbilder ganz ohne Kamera - Negativstreifen und Dias anders gesehen - PC-Fehler zur kreativen Weiterverarbeitung verwenden - Digitalfotografie und ihre Möglichkeiten mit einem Apple-Computer kombinieren und verfeinern - und bis heute noch vieles mehr entdecken...

Back in 1987, K4s 1361 appeared to have a bright future in excursion service; however, that just wasn't to be. Somewhere on the Nittany and Bald Eagle outside of Milesburg, I took this lovely shot on K64 of the 1361's crew giving her the once-over at a maintenance stop. She didn't run much after this series of trips, and she sits to this day in many pieces with parts scattered around Altoona and Scranton.
