In de morgen van woensdag 21 september passeert de 1330 mijn lens. Dit was een van de treinen die ik ooit nog wou fotograferen omdat ik de combinatie van de paarse buizen en het gele van de loc wel een geslaagde combinatie vind.
NS 1110 met EC-3 "Rembrandt" komt door Ede-Wageningen gereden op weg richting Arnhem en Emmerich. In Emmerich zal de een locomotief van de Duitse spoorwegen de trein overnemen en deze naar Basel brengen, alwaar de Zwitserse spoorwegen de trein via Zurich naar haar eindbestemming Chur zal brengen.

Zoals laatst aangegeven bij de foto van de 813 in Floreffe, bezocht ik onlangs de restanten van de lijn 288 die vanuit Floreffe het Parc industriel de la Basse-Sambre bediend. Een mooie reden om ook eens wat oudere foto's van Floreffe op te snorren.
Iets verder richting het stationsgebouw, rechts zichtbaar, kon ik deze foto nemen van trein 48785 van Paray-Le-Monial (F) naar Châtelet. De 1330 had vast niet veel moeite met deze onbeladen sleep wagons voor het transport van coils (rollen plaatstaal).
Nu 12 jaar later zijn de wijksporen in Floreffe opgebroken...

Today's story and sketch by me #1330 is about the two tourists who just arrived on this Tropical Volcanic Planet we call Budahunga. Moments ago I received a message from Deputy Cosmo that two pedestrians, somehow mysteriously arrived, and were walking along the shoreline of Lake Budahunga. As soon as I got close I recognized the couple, they were Ted and his wife Alice Waka Waka, Flamenco Birds from Santa Ana. Just how they traveled through multiple dimensions and Galaxies to arrive on Budahunga, will have to be a story for another time, until then Tata the Rod Blog.
