172 132-3 und 172 171-1 konnten am 24.06.23 neben dem ehemaligen Stellwerk W3 vom Staßfurter Gbf abgepasst werden. Viel Eisenbahnromantik ist nicht mehr übrig geblieben in Staßfurt, vom Museums BW und den Stellwerken B4 und W3 abgesehen wurden alle anderen Zeugnisse der Vergangenheit dem Erdboden gleichgemacht.
Not much "old" railway stuff is left standing in Staßfurt, save for 2 switch tower's and the museum engine shed of Staßfurt. For this matter, it was a nice catch to get 172 132-3 and 172 171-1 next to the not so dilapidated Switch tower W3 of the old Staßfurt cargo yard

Another trip into space last night, this time to Sharpless 2-132, aka the Lion Nebula. Sh2-132 is a faint emission nebula on the Cepheus/Lacerta border, estimated to be at a distance of about 10000 - 12000 light years from Earth. This shot comprises 93 x 5 minute shots to get the required signal to noise data required to visualise the nebula structures.
ZWO ASI2600MC Pro camera, William Optics GT81 scope with WO Flat 6AIII flattener, ZWO ASIAir Pro guided, Skywatcher HEQ5 Pro mount, L-eXtreme filter.
93 lights of 300sec at gain 100 and -10degC, 40 darks, 50 flats and 50 dark flats.

Once I saw all the fine detail in the blade rotation I wanted to keep the backdrop simple.
