This was an image I got after a conceptual shoot today- Mae looked so pretty so I thought we'd get some studio shots done too :)
Today was a rough day for us. With the pre-teens have come moodiness that some days I just don't have the patience for. Tonight was the first night that I was too angry to tuck you in. I felt awful about it the whole night. I took photos earlier in the day but this one means more to me because it is true life. Not all days are fun and easy. On days like this is when I look forward to sleep and to awake in the new sunrise. A new chance to do it better.

this is at the lakefront in Columbia, Maryland. I figured I might as well take a picture there since I passed it and today was so sunny and warm and it felt so nice to be outside :)
I don't know how or why I have been so busy lately! I'm so sorry! Dedicating a day to check Flickr very soon. Am so sad my last week didn't make it!
I took Diaz back down to the field that is muddy and collected more deer bones. She managed to roll in something completely foul that made me gag and I even used a waterless shampoo then a real shower with 2x scrubbing and she still has an odor.. oh god, it was so bad I was gagging. And of course the more she smells the more she wants to be in my face and play. She even got on the bed! UGH!! Night spent on the living room floor, for sure.
We picked up more bones and this was taken along Route8 in front of a home on the hill where a cannon was parked. Kid you not, I will have to upload the photo of Diaz on it. Lady said she got it from Devou Park but I was so jealous. She said I could photograph Diaz on her steps here. Lovely little rock/concrete base for photos. Thank you, lady!
Also stopped because I saw a dog trotting down the middle of the road and as soon as I got Diaz out to lure him in 3 kids ran up oo-ing and aww-ing over Diaz for a good 15 minutes, then saw my bone bucket and played with my stinky mutt. I was worried since I don't dress as a "respectable adult" (not terrible, but a sort of 'altnerative' look) and didn't want the parents coming out and calling police. I explained to them about Diaz and the neighbor who owned the dog came home and saw me with him so I told her what happened about how I stopped to ensure he wouldn't get run over. Seems the dog just wanders a lot, ugh, whatever. I made small talk and drove farther down Rt8.. and found a degloved cottonttail rabbit tail next to a building! AWESOME! I taped it to the antenna of my car and my day was GREAT. :3

Today the humanities center I work for has a double whammy of speakers, so I had to dress nicely...I'm at work from 8am-9pm today. Whew!

Typical clothing for todays temperature. My second trip back to the same store. Different hat and now a scarf.
I don't quite know if this fits at all. Today I wasn't able to spend must time taking pictures, again. I almost haven't shut my eyes since yesterday morning, and so I am desperate to do so. I promise I will be back with better pictures.
The good news is that I am going to Kansas in one day. Yay!
