Above 12K feet not only the air gets thin but also the vegetation. In this image you can see the line where the open fields and rocky edges shape the body of the Rocky Mountain National Park.

At over 12K above sea level the vegetation starts to recede and the mountain is revealed. The Rocky Mountain National Park has many vistas to enjoy but only until mid-October unless you want to hike to the upper regions. The main road closes for the Winter.

Bit of a rushed shot here, but this took me by complete surprise, and as it was a fairly active garage it was parked next to, I had to be pretty prompt with my photo! Looks to be absolutely spotless, I've known of this Renault specialist for some time but never expected to see a 12 there. Oddly, this isn't even the only 12 I've seen this year now, I saw another green estate a few weeks later too...
