"Capitol Bokeh"... I dont want to sit here and tell you i discovered a whole new world. But i have recently fell in love with DC's night life (and i dont mean the parties and clubs), I mean the wonderful array of colors and lights that DC's most famous and influential buildings provide.. Yes we all have seen the monuments during the wonderfull, warm, spring and summer days that just seem endless, but just moments after that shining sun goes down a whole new world and perspective of the monuments lights up!.. I would reccomend to anyone to spend some time at night and walk around through the monuments, it is a sight that you will not see anywhere else!

A longer walk today took us out into countryside we've not walked in since lock down began. It was wonderful to be totally alone for almost all of our walk.

This is where I spend a fair bit of time at home, vaping out of the back door and listening to the world go by.
I'm quite enjoying the challenge of shooting at home and trying to make the mundane appear more interesting.
I think an out of focus figure in the haze would have bumped this up a notch or two but I'll save that for another day.
1 x Yongnuo 560iv outside with orange gel and another behind me with a blueish gel to lift the shadows. Big chuff of vape then a 2 second timer.

On the afternoon before Wings Over Illawarra Air Show 2018, there was some nasty cloud lingering over the Illawarra and the wind was very blustery. Really glad in subsided by the next morning!
This image was shot as the RAAF Hawk 127's arrived over Albion Park and rocked the local neighbourhood for about 10 minutes. Was awesome to watch from my vantage point. How's the cloud porn?!

i studied all of yesterday then went to an ugly sweater party with a few friends later at night. i was worried that i was going to have to settle with a horrible last minute photo, but i'm glad i waited because as soon as we left to go back to our dorms this magnificent fog encompassed campus, allowing me to capture this :)
