A lovely morning down at Druridge Bay, several sunrise shots to follow when I get a chance. Took a bit of work to get a sharp photo of this tiny feather as it kept fluttering about in the breeze. I knew it was worth persevering though. For anyone who’s interested, this was taken with my kit lens on its macro setting. No where near a true macro but very handy to have all the same.

Taken a little further along than the main rock formations which I’m struggling to get right, they’re just so varied. The rain clouds were really rattling along when I got to this spot but I managed to stay relatively dry.

De kalktrein 47550 naar Beverwijk moest iets vertraagd zijn wilde ik deze in Houten vanaf het perron kunnen fotograferen. Meestal kwam je deze onderweg tussen Lunetten en Houten tegen. Op 21 juli lukte dit zowaar en we zien de 1613 met de drie recepten trein het station van Houten binnen stuiven.

Curious little things Limpets, I've no idea how they know where the other limpets are but they're almost always to be found in clusters. I also read a few days ago that some boffins have been studying them and discovered that their teeth are made from the strongest biological substance yet discovered. Amazing little things.
As for the photo, it was nice to be back out for a sunrise but it took a while to get going so I had a look around for something else first. I liked the way these Limpets contrasted wit the houses behind at The Salt Pans.
