This cardinal was curious enough to sit still for a moment. The males certainly are striking, especially on a very clear winter's day.
Note:
I use a calibrated monitor and the Cardinal is okay on that, but on my tablet (it was a gift, I don't like them..........LOL) it is overblown. At a later date I will post another more muted image of the male Cardinal.

In architettura la definizione di scala è molto semplice, questa viene considerata come una vera e propria costruzione edilizia, che consente il collegamento verticale fra i diversi piani di un edificio.
Il rapporto di scala, che ci dà la comprensione della misura della geometria e dello spazio, rimane essenziale alla nostra esperienza. Al di là di lunghezza, larghezza, o massa di una struttura, esiste la grandezza della misura della scala.
Questa,rappresentata nella mia foto,è una tipica scala a chiocciola,forma ideale dove gli spazi sono molto compressi.

In architecture the definition of staircase is very simple, this is considered as a real building construction, which allows the vertical connection between the different floors of a building.
The relationship of scale, which gives us an understanding of the extent of geometry and space, remains essential to our experience. Beyond the length, width, or mass of a structure, there is the magnitude of the measure of the scale.
This, represented in my photo, is a typical spiral staircase, an ideal shape where the spaces are very compressed.

Llançà es un municipio de la Costa Brava norte, en la comarca del Alt Empordà. Está al norte del Cabo de Creus.
Está rodeado de parques naturales: el Parque Natural de Interés Nacional de la Albera y el Parque Natural del Cap de Creus. Limita con Colera al norte, Vilamaniscle y Garriguella oeste, El Valle de Santa Creu(Port de la Selva) al sur, y con el mar Mediterráneo al este.
