Outbound Metra train 1237 slows for its stop at Belmont as Amtrak train 3 overtakes it on the Racetrack. Today's Chief has three units versus the regular two unit consist and is led by Phase III heritage unit 145. The three engines were needed to power the additional 3 private cars bringing up the rear.

Arnis is the smallest town in Germany with about 300 inhabitants.
Arnis die kleinste Stadt Deutschlands mit ca. 300 Einwohnern.

Als der Kappelner Lehnsherr Detlev von Rumohr auf Roest von seinen Untertanen den Treueeid verlangte, waren 64 Familien nicht bereit, diesen zu leisten. Weil das aber bedeutete, dass sie nicht weiter in Kappeln bleiben konnten, ersuchten sie Herzog Christian Albrecht, ihnen die Insel Arnis zur Besiedelung zu überlassen. Die abtrünnigen Kappelner Bürger bekamen die Erlaubnis, sich auf der Insel anzusiedeln. Heute befindet sich die Urkunde darüber im Landesarchiv in Schleswig.
Im Jahre1667 wurde Arnis gegründet.
