Locomotive 1210 was one of the "Australian eight wheeler" locomotives built by Beyer, Peacock & Co. Manchester, England in 1878.
Number 1210 hauled train around New South Wales until it was retired in 1958 and withdrawn from service. The locomotive was restored to operational condition and re-commissioned in September 1988. At that time No 1210 was the oldest operational main line steam locomotive in the world hauling heritage trains.
When undergoing mechanical and boiler works in 2017 thieves broke in and stole a number of priceless parts of the 139-year-old engine. A few nights later the same thieves stole a copper steam boiler tube worth around $70,000. It is unlikely 1210 will ever be restored or seen under steam again.

De 1219 is op 13 juni 1983 met een stam Plan E als stoptrein 4330 onderweg van Roosendaal naar Zwolle en wisselt door het kruiswissel in Zutphen om langs het perron te stoppen. Op de achtergrond de stoptrein 9838 naar Den Haag CS die wacht op het vrij komen van de rijweg over de enkelsporige IJsselbrug.
