The Castro Marim railway station, currently a halt, is actually located in the village of São Bartolomeu do Sul, 5.5 km (3.4 mi) from the town of Castro Marim.

It is located at PK 389+911 on the Algarve line (coordinates 37°11′48.31″N; 7°29′2.15″W).

Today the Algarve line is fully electrified, but at the time of publication of this photo, it is still the 0450 series diesel railcars that provide commercial passenger service.

I have a lot to learn from my PippiPie.

She lives always, pure of heart, with hope and optimism.

But her life is simple and she has the luxury.

Here she is, attaining again, her true goal in life, as she wills the treat in my hand a little closer… just a little bit more…

And a few more after that, haha.

Another year is at an end in less than an hour here, friends, and what a time it has been..

As it skids to the finish line on tenterhooks in so many parts of the world, I'm a bit weary teary in anticipation of the worst outcome of the treachery of humans, and am watching the movie War Horse on the telly as I type right now, so will very probably be all soggy sobby by bedtime.

2017 will be a telling year for the future of this wonderful planet and I think it will take me some courage to face it with the hope and optimism like my little girl does.

So here's hoping for the best.

Located on the southern coast line of Australia is the Great Ocean Road. Covering some of the most rugged coastline which Australia has on offer and amazing seascapes. This was taken at sunrise recently. A little low due to the winter period but still a stunning sight.

With the blue skies, and in an urban area, I finally found some buildings for my 100 project

A few nights ago I had a dream that I was at my friends' house and we were given a blank map of Europe and we had to fill in the country names. We got a lot of the smaller ones but when it came to "France" and "England" we were just drawing blanks...hahah
