PKP 193 515 komt met een Chengdu-shuttle bestaande uit een 100% grijze CDIRS-containers door de Eempolder op weg naar de Houtrakpolder. Wederom presenteren de Chinezen een eerste transport - nu naar de Houtrakpolder - met gelijkkleurige containers. Helaas was in de Eempolder bijna alles grijs-/grauw.
I recently participated in the RebelLUG "So Uncivilized" collaboration, the goal of which was to build various blasters from Star Wars. I built the E-11, the gun that stormtroopers used. I must confess that I know almost nothing at all about guns, but think I did pretty well basing it off of some reference images. While it was an enjoyable experience, it was probably also my most challenging creation I've ever made. Also, credit to Nick Jensen for the fantastic editing job. I hope you like it!
There are 30 Images in this Series, a new one will be posted everyday this month........so either I will drive you crazy with the damn things or you will die of boredom.............damn this is fun!!!!!!

October 2023: A month in 31 pictures
My friend popped over with Hugh, one of her dogs. I tried to get a quick shot of him, he was looking at his mum for treats though. The background isn't great and I tried to change it but it was my first attempt and it looked too artificial. This is all I got today and I haven't got the energy to start again.

Helaas de saaie loc voorop, geen zonnegaatje en de neus van de langskomende sprinter kon ik wegsnijden.
L'aigrette garzette a un régime alimentaire très varié : petits poissons, insectes aquatiques et terrestres, crustacés, mollusques et aussi de petits lézards, de petits reptiles et d'amphibiens. Sa technique de chasse est assez élaborée, elle se positionne dans une eau peu profonde à proximité d'une végétation flottante pour surprendre ses proies à l'ombre, quand il n'y a pas de végétation, elle s'accroupit et étend ses ailes au ras de l'eau sans bouger pour créer de l'ombre et attirer les proies qu'elle attrape en projetant avec rapidité son bec redoutable. Elle peut aussi mettre en œuvre une autre technique qui consiste à rester sur une patte pendant que l'autre fouille la vase pour faire sortir des petits poissons qu'elle peut alors attraper facilement. Les jeunes sont nourris par les parents jusqu'au jour de leur envol, au bout de cinq semaines.
